How Important is Safety at NCM?

Here at Naples Concrete and Masonry, we take safety very seriously. We are constantly working to make sure all of our workers get the specified training they require. Anyone who works with forklifts or other machinery, have forklift training cards. All of our superintendants have gone to OSHA training classes as well. Scaffold training classes are also made available.

On a monthly basis an outside safety representative comes to our location and evaluates all the workers' performance on the job in a written report. A new safety theme is created monthly as well, and put in our newsletter. Then, on a weekly basis, a portion of that theme is gone over with every person on every work crew. Each individual signs off that they understand the safety theme, have not seen anyone get hurt, and are not hurt themselves.
